Wigan Warriors v Wakefield Trinity (18:00) - Sky Sports Main Event & Arena

The Warriors welcome back half-back and former Man of Steel Jackson Hastings for their round 2 clash against Wakefield Trinity. Hastings will be a welcome addition to the squad after new signing Jai Field's debut was cruelly cut short last week - Field suffered a hamstring injury which will rule him out for 5 months.

Adrian Lam is still without star full-back Bevan French who only returned to the UK last week - French will need until at least round 3 before he is back in contention. Zak Hardaker, who was instrumental in the Warriors comeback victory against the Centurions in round 1, will be continue to fill in at full-back. 

Wakefield Trinity make two changes to their 21-man squad ahead of Thursday's clash - Jay Pitts and Ryan Hampshire replacing Alex Walker and Yusuf Aydin. 

Former Warrior Hampshire looks set to be a straight a replacement for Alex Walker at full-back - Trinity still without the services of their number 1 Max Jowitt. 

Eddie Battye and Kyle Wood are also absent from the squad as Trinity look to get their first two points of the season when they take on last seasons League Leaders.

Hull KR v St Helens (20:15) - Sky Sports Main Event & Arena

Mose Masoe's two former Super League clubs will go head to head on Thursday Night with Mose in attendance to support his former teammates. 

Hull KR's new number 10 Korbin Sims will pay tribute to Mose on Thursday and wear Masoe's name proudly on the back of his shirt in round 2, as the Robins look to secure a victory over last years champions.

Brad Takairangi was absent from the Rovers 17 last week and has dropped out of their 21-man squad ahead of round 2, replaced by the fit again Muizz Mustapha. Mustapha is on loan at from Leeds Rhinos and could be in line to make his debut on Thursday Night. 

Lachlan Coote is expected to make his first appearance of 2021 after sitting out of round 1 - despite being named in Saints 21-man squad. Kristian Woolf was cautious not to rush Coote back into action, with the full-back carrying a slight knock from pre-season.

Mark Percival and Agnatius Paasi are the only two changes to Woolf's 21-man squad this week after the pair sustained injuries during their round 1 victory against Salford. Youngsters Tom Nisbet and Jake Wingfield are included as their replacements.

Friday 2 April

Warrington Wolves v Leigh Centurions (12:45) - Sky Sports Main Event & Arena

Steve Price names an unchanged 21-man squad for their round 2 clash with Leigh Centurions. The Wolves are still without star signing Greg Inglis who is striving to get back to full match fitness - Connor Wrench expected to fill in again at centre.

Matt Davis is in contention to play on Friday with head coach Steve Price praising the forwards efforts in training during the week. The Wolves will be hoping to put their disappointing start against Castleford Tigers behind them and get their first win of the season against the newly promoted Leigh.

The Centurions make just one change to their 21-man squad with Craig Mullen included for round 2. Head coach John Duffy pleased with his sides effort in their season opener with no real need for change, despite their narrow loss. 

New signings Ben Flower and Brendan Elliot are still unavailable for Leigh as they continue to recover from their respective injuries. Former State of Origin star Nathan Peats is expected to arrive in the UK this week so could feature for the Centurions as early as next week.

Leeds Rhinos v Castleford Tigers (15:00) - Sky Sports Main Event & Arena

The Rhinos make just one change to their 21-man squad this week with youngster Corey Hall replacing Kyle Eastmond. Fans will have to wait a little longer before Eastmond makes his eagerly awaited return to rugby league.

Richard Agar is still without centre Konrad Hurrell through injury, with the impressive Jack Broadbent expected to fill in again after his standout performance for the Rhinos during their round 1 victory against Wakefield Trinity. 

Castleford Tigers make two changes to their squad - Lewis Bienek and Lewis Peachey replacing Gareth O'Brien and Jacques O'Neill who both picked up injuries during their opening round victory against the Wolves.

Danny Richardson is expected to be fit for their crunch tie against Leeds after missing out in round 1, despite being named in the 21-man squad. Lewis Bienek could also make his competitive debut for the Tigers on Saturday after being included in their squad for the first time since joining the club during the off season.

Saturday 3 April

Salford Red Devils v Hull FC (12:15) - Sky Sports Arena

Head coach Richard Marshall welcomes Andy Ackers into the side this week - the Red Devils number 9 missed out in round 1 as he was self-isolating due to covid protocols. 

That will mean at least one change to the Salford side that lost to St Helens in round 1 - however Marshall did insist there is room in the 17 for both Danny Addy and Declan Patton - the two players who filled in at hooker last week. 

Josh Bowden is the only expected casualty for Hull FC in round 2 following their victory against Huddersfield Giants on Sunday. The prop forward left the field with a head injury and isn't expected to be fit in time Saturday's match. 

The black and whites will also be without Masi Matongo who suffered a knee injury during training last week - head coach Brett Hodgson revealed the prop required surgery and would miss at least the first few months of the season. 

Young prop Jack Brown is still recovering from a minor ankle injury but should be available for selection in round 3.

Huddersfield Giants v Catalans Dragons (14:30) - Sky Sports Main Event & Arena

The Giants will be hoping to welcome back captain Aidan Sezer in round 2 after the half-back sat out of their opening round defeat to Hull FC. 

Young centre Jake Wardle should also feature for the Giants this week after missing out in the opening round - he will take the place of Ricky Leutele who suffered a suspected broken hand late on during last week's round 1 contest. 

Sam Tomkins left the field late on in round 1 with a suspected head knock - he has been included in the 21-man squad and is expected to feature for the Dragons in round 2.

Steve McNamara adds Samisoni Langi to his squad for their tie against the Giants with Mickael Goudemand making way for the centre.
